On June 1-3, 2010 a delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation visited the Udmurt Republic.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Zautbek Turisbekov headed the Kazakh delegation that came to Udmurtia to take part in the 3rd All-Russian Forum “Russian Capital to Russian Innovations and meet with the leaders of the Udmurt Republic.

On June 2 the delegation participated in the opening ceremony of the Forum, visited expositions of innovative products, and took part in the Russia’s Food Security Doctrine and Regional Socio-Economic Development Priorities conference where the Ambassador presented a report titled “Prospects of Kazakh-Russian Cooperation in the Sphere of Food Security Ensurance”.

After the conference the delegation met with Alexander Volkov, President of the Udmurt Republic, and Alexey Kubrin, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Privolzhsky Federal District.
